GRAPHIC DESIGN ︎
For every event, my challenge is to create a coherant visual identity. With helpful feedback from experienced designers, I refine my vision, and design social media content, printed materials and websites.
Showcasing students' thesis work is one of my most important annual projects. Designing assets for the showcase and website has allowed me to create a wide range of materials, including the program, invitations, schedule, holding slides, and even a step-and-repeat backdrop. This experience has given me the opportunity to explore and design all sorts of creative concepts.

One of my favourite design challenges was to create a visual identity for the BBA program. I was asked for something bright, and recognizable, with many possibilities for iteration.

Every week, I’m responsible for two newsletters that are sent to thousands of students and faculty.

The BBA Newsletter is my pride and joy. When I realized that no one was actually reading it, I decided to start making adjustments. I started by including a joke at the top, and then putting the punchline at the bottom, forcing everyone curious enough to scroll. I watched the metrics work in our favour (click-rate ↑ 39%), and every week I’ve grown a little bit bolder, including gifs, themes and puns. Check out an example here.

Amelia Neal and I were nominated for a Spark Award for our work on the newsletter. These awards honour students, alumni, faculty, and staff who embody The New School's bold spirit and commitment to one another.

SOCIAL MEDIA ︎
I manage Instagram accounts for multiple programs, where I create and organize content. Recently, I’ve extended the BBA’s new tone to Instagram by desiging memes related to the newsletter’s weekly theme. I’ve included some of my favourites below.
